About our flock:
A family of six winged beings live harmoniously on North Skye, including one lohmann brown named Ialtag (bat), two sapphire emeralds laying blue eggs named Glas (grey) and Uaine (green), a rhode rock named Baby Buzzard, a light sussex named Snow Bunting, and one brahma named Sesame.
Their home overlooks the Quiriang, with a steady burn and healthy grasses granting ecosystem clear forage and air. Local, free-ranging, and snacking on goji berries, organic oats, seeds, and garden greens - it doesn’t get any better!
We love caring for our fluffy friends, and hope to share in place a reciprocity for sustenance with you!
About our garden:
A polycrub continues to guide our sustenance in place, a safe haven for the hearty cultivation of all things fresh: leafy greens to ferment, tubers to pickle, and citrus fruit to quench with purées and infusions. A young olive tree grows patiently. Potatoes pop in beige and purple hues. Vining vegetables live a tight harmony. Herbs blossom along the flashing, and perilla shiso stands centered and tall. A confetti of bird's eye chillies are on their way. Sometimes toads, sparrows, burn rocks, and bees, come to visit, too.
We love spending time in the garden, and in the summer it graces us each day with nutritional delights!
